My cousin's husband commissioned me for a portrait of Potato who was diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease and hyperthyroidism and the reality that he was getting older has become really hard on his wife. So he surprised her with this keepsake, a portrait of her little man, for her birthday and she was so overwhelmed with emotion and thankful beyond words. I started recording halfway through the drawing process but this is still hours of work condensed into 1 minute!
